③ Available Dimensions (Standard Range)

  • Thickness: 0.3–60 mm
  • Width: ≤ 2000 mm
  • Form: coil / sheet / plate / circle / slit strip on request
  • Surface: 2B · BA · No.1 · No.4 · HL · 8K on request

④ Applicable Standards

ASTM A240 · EN 10088-2 · JIS G4304/4305 · GB/T 3280

⑤ Typical Applications

Thick-walled welded components, large tanks, chemical equipment, pipelines, welded fabrications not subjected to post-weld heat treatment

⑥ Substitution and Selection Guidance

Slightly lower strength than 304, but better intergranular corrosion resistance after welding. If post-weld solution annealing is applied, 304 is sufficient.

Chemical and mechanical data are taken from the publicly available ASTM A240 standard. Available dimensions are standard ranges; the contract and technical agreement shall prevail.
